Grand Chess provides a free, browser-based chess platform that includes:

• Chess games against AI opponents powered by Stockfish 18
• Local player-vs-player chess matches
• Tactical chess puzzles
• Game review and move analysis
• Opening recognition and learning tools

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind.

When using Grand Chess, you agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the security of the platform
• Use automated bots or scripts to access or interact with the Service (outside of the intended AI chess engine)
• Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the Service's normal operation
• Copy, modify, or distribute our source code without express permission
• Represent yourself as affiliated with Grand Chess without authorization

The Grand Chess platform, including its design, code (excluding open-source components), content, and branding, are the intellectual property of Grand Chess and protected by applicable copyright laws.

Open-source components used in Grand Chess include:

• Stockfish — Licensed under GNU General Public License (GPL) v3
• chess.js — Licensed under BSD License
• React — Licensed under MIT License

Chess piece images and board assets are used in accordance with their respective licenses.

Grand Chess may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and other advertising partners. These advertisements help us keep the platform free. By using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to the display of such advertisements.

Advertisers are responsible for the content of their advertisements. Grand Chess does not endorse any advertiser or their products/services.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The AI engine will provide optimal chess moves at all times
• The results from using the Service will be accurate or reliable

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GRAND CHESS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services (e.g., Google AdSense, Google Analytics, Vercel hosting). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.
